Capcom today finally announced the release date for Monster Hunter: World on PC.

The PC version of the critical and commercial hit launches August 9, 2018 via Steam. After launching on PS4 and Xbox One earlier this year, PC players will finally get a chance to take on larger-than-life monsters solo or with up to three players in co-op. In our review, we found the game to be quite excellent and perfect for new and fans of the franchise.

In Monster Hunter: World, you embark on a grand journey on behalf of the Guild's Research Commission to the New World. You'll explore this new land as you uncover its secrets and hunt Zorah Magdaros, a colossal elder dragon. As with the console versions, all future updates and new content will be released for free to all players. All the updates and fixes added to the console versions will be applied gradually to the PC version.

Monster Hunter: World is out August 9 on PC, and now on PS4 and Xbox One.
