Mortal Kombat X Predator Trailer Released

Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer NetherRealm Studios released on Monday a new trailer for the latest combatant heading to Mortal Kombat X’s roster: Predator.

Predator, who was teased by NetherRealm last week, will be available as part of the Predator Bundle, which includes three brand-new character skins: Commando Johnny, Infrared Scorpion and Carl Weathers as Jax.

Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack owners will receive the Predator Bundle first on July 7, while the DLC can be purchased separately on July 14 for $7.99 (£6.49) on the PlayStation Store, Xbox Games Store and Steam.

Warner Bros. and NetherRealm also confirmed that there is an option to pick up the Predator character on its own for $4.99 (£3.99) and the Predator Prey Pack — the three character skins for Johnny, Scorpion and Jax — for $3.99 (£3.29).

The Predator trailer, which can be viewed below, has the iconic horror movie character facing off against several opponents, including Friday the 13th villain Jason Voorhees, who was a recent addition to the title.

Coinciding with Predator’s imminent release is the Klassic Fatality Pack, a free add-on that includes a ‘Kold War’ skin for Scorpion and the return of four classic fatalities from the original Mortal Kombat for Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage.

Mortal Kombat X, which became the all-time best-selling launch title in the franchise’s history, was released on April 14 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
