While a great deal of the gaming community is waiting patiently for the upcoming release of Street Fighter V, those loyal to the Mortal Kombat series were treated to an extremely solid fighting game when Mortal Kombat X launched last April. While some of you may have moved on from the insanely gory experience, the competitive fighting game circuit never stops.

A new trailer has been released for the finale of Season 2 of the MKX Pro League by Microsoft and NetherRealm Studios. If you're the type of gamer that loves watching those with more talent and acquired skill then you, then this will certainly get you excited for the official event. Of course, it wouldn't be a competition without something serious on the line. While this doesn't boast the insane prize pool of the most recent Dota 2 International, the winning fighter out of the international pool of sixteen will receive $100,000.
