It seems like it's Naruto day as two video games in the beloved universe have been announced. Even though the main series has concluded, Boruto will be bringing forth a new generation of manga and anime, hopefully properly taking over from his father.

Bandai Namco has announced their first passing of the torch, at least in video game form with Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker.

“We’re delighted to work with Soleil on the newest installment to the Naruto series, taking the popular franchise to literal new heights as players utilize the vertical plane to gain advantages in battles with friends. Long-time fans and Naruto newbies are sure to enjoy the intense arena combat together,” said Eric Hartness, Vice President of Marketing at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. “NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIKER is a fresh take on the iconic anime series, and puts all players and characters into the fight.”

This is a multiplayer-centric 4v4 fighter developed by Soleil. Shonobi Striker will feature all your favorite Naruto characters, wonderful anime-inspired visuals, vast open arenas, and fast paced action. Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC at a later date.
