Publisher Ubisoft released on Tuesday a new trailer for Ubisoft Quebec’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
Historian Judith Flanders, who is an advisor to Ubisoft Quebec on the development of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, serves as the narrator for the latest trailer, as she offers an insight into some of the well-known historical figures from the Victorian era, including Karl Marx, Queen Victoria, Charles Darwin and Charles Dickens.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s two playable protagonists — Jacob and Evie Frye — will encounter the different historical characters over the course of the narrative, as showcased in the trailer below.
Charles Darwin and Charles Dickens will appear in a mission called “The Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy,” which Ubisoft revealed as a pre-order bonus for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate earlier this year.
Last month, the contents of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s Season Pass were revealed, with Jack the Ripper, one of the most notorious serial killers of all time, set to feature in a DLC campaign that takes place 20 years after the events of the main game.
It’s also been confirmed that Journey composer Austin Wintory has created the score for this year’s installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is scheduled for release on October 23 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the PC version launching on November 19.
