For those following our E3 coverage this year, we made it relatively clear that we were pretty excited for GWENT: The Witcher Card Game. Based on a surprisingly popular and addictive mini-game of the same name from last year's hit RPG - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - GWENT is a standalone digital, competitive collectible card game featuring the game series' diverse cast of characters and critters in strategy-heavy battle. A game of GWENT starts with a ten card hand and lasts two to three rounds where the players essentially only have those first ten cards at their disposal for the rest of the game. With ongoing balancing for the different deck factions, a multi-campaign, voiced, branching story mode, and plenty of flair, GWENT may attract more than just Witcher fans.

See the Join the BETA trailer below. The Closed Beta for GWENT: The Witcher Card Game will start October 25, on PC and Xbox One only. GWENT is currently in development for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, with cross-platform play.
