It seems Lincoln Clay will be taking advice from two mentors throughout the story of Mafia III. The sixth and final trailer in a series introducing us to the world of Mafia III focuses on these older, wiser men.

Father James Ballard, Lincoln's priest, is also his father figure, as well as his spiritual guide. John Donovan, a CIA handler, is working with Lincoln to take the Mafia down. Both figures will lead Clay to make decisions on how to get his revenge and it is likely that the two will give conflicting reports. The player will have to decide which path to take.
