The PlayStation Blog is celebrating the creative minds at Sony's Santa Monica Studio in a new series.

The first post was written by a character artist named Rafael Grassetti, who has worked on the designs for many of the characters in the God of War series and others. He talks about his path to becoming a character artist at Santa Monica, and how he was driven to do what he does today.

The video portion of the article goes much more in depth. Grassetti talks about his life, his past and his inspirations as an artist, and it is all very sentimental and nice. It also shows off some of the work he's done with clay, which is truly incredible.
