In the latest video in the “Remote Access” series, which provides eager viewers with an inside look at the development of next month’s highly-anticipated Watch Dogs 2, Ubisoft shines a light on one of the key themes of the game’s campaign, corrupt businesses in the modern age.

In addition to new snippets of gameplay and cutscenes, the video below contains some intriguing tidbits from Scriptwriter Lucien Soulban, who dives into how companies are tracking their consumer’s activities on the internet, and, as a result, using targeted advertising in an attempt to increase their sales. However, Watch Dogs 2 explores what would happen if these businesses decided to go further with that data, and how the access we have to all this information and power could come at a terrible cost.

If these types of conspiracy-fueled rabbit holes sound appealing, then one won’t have to wait long to see how these play out, as Watch Dogs 2 arrives on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 15.
