It might not seem like a long time, but the world can change a lot in 9929 years. This is the time period for NieR: Automata, the follow up to 2010's cult classic NIER, and in the world presented in this upcoming release humans have left the Earth and the androids are at war. The scheduled March 7 release for NieR: Automata is much sooner than the projected events in the game, but for those us that are eagerly anticipating this game those two and a half months can seem like a long time. Thankfully, there is a playable demo available on the PlayStation Store for the PlayStation 4 so those of us that can't wait for this title can get a taste of things to come. A new trailer is also out showcasing some of the crossover weapons from Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest such as the Engine Blade and Cypress Stick, as well showing off that the soundtrack for NieR: Automata will likely recreate the magic of what made its predecessor's music so memorable.
