NieR: Automata is edging closer to release and Square Enix has a little bit more to show you before the game drops this coming February. The new trailer hit at this year's Jump Festa event shows a brief overview of the game's setting and reveals two crossover weapons in the game: Noctis's Engine Blade from Final Fantasy XV and the recurring Cypress Stick from the Dragon Quest series.  When using the Engine Blade YoHRa's dodge will reflect the same visual effect that occurs when Noctis performs a successful dodge in Final Fantasy XV and the Cypress Stick will display damage in numbers when attacking and change the design of in-game chests to that of the ones found in Dragon Quest.

Nier: Automata is due February 23, 2017 for PlayStation 4 in Japan and March 7 for North America with a PC port down the road. You can check out the Jump Festa 2017 trailer below:
