Nintendo Direct Micro Info Dump Reveals a Gaggle of New Information

Nintendo surprised us today with a spontaneous Nintendo Direct “Micro” with plenty of nice news, especially for 3DS owners. In the video, we see that Bravely Second: End Layer, sequel to the critically acclaimed Bravely Default, is coming West next year. Included also are details about a new Splatoon update, Little Battlers eXperience, Chibi Robo, and much more. We have the breakdown of what games are covered in the video right here:

3DS:

  • Chibi-Robot!: Zip Lash, coming this October.
  • Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure, coming June 11.
  • Bravely Second: End Layer, coming West next year.
  • Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, coming this winter.
  • LBX: Little Battlers eXperience, coming August 21.
  • Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition’s Puzzle & Dragons Z will be getting free weekly updates.

Wii U:

  • Splatoon is getting a new weapon, a new map, and a mode in free update.
  • Art Academy: Home Studio; art app coming June 25.
  • Project Treasure got a debut gameplay trailer here.

3DS and Wii U:

  • Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, coming around the same time as the upcoming Summer Olympics (August 2016).
