In Akiba's Beat, players take on the role of Asahi Tachibana, a NEET - which is a shut-in that is neither employed, nor going to school, nor getting training - who is somehow affording a cozy life in Akihabara, Tokyo. Unfortunately, the exceptionally easy life ends for Asahi when he's caught in a temporal loop. As one of the conveniently special people who are able to retain memories after each reset in the loop, Asahi's luck just doesn't give in as he and his band of similarly-situated people battle through people's "delusions" made manifest and seek a means of ending the loop. That said, Asahi has more than just his battle party to aid him as he will also encounter occupational maids on this mission who aid him in this struggle as well.

See a trailer fleshing out these maid characters below, followed by a character trailer of the game's primary cast. Akiba's Beat is out for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on May 16.
