While we keep waiting and waiting for the day in which a release window for Below finally appears, we can still get a taste of Capybara Games soon courtesy of Cartoon Network Games and their hit show OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes. Not only did the animated series have the good fortune to be picked for a second season recently, but now it also has a talented developer like Capy working on their tie-in brawler OK K.O.! Let's Play Heroes, which is now due out later this month.

As seen in the trailer below, the plot is kicked off when main villain Lord Boxman resents all of the POW cards for the heroes of Lakewood Plaza Turbo, dropping them down to Level 0. So it's up to the young K.O. to fight off Boxman's armies and help everyone level back up again, performing various deeds for them and gaining the ability to summon them in battle. Being developed in collaboration with series creator Ian Jones-Quartey, it looks to hopefully be a unique take on the genre that does the show justice, and we'll see if that is indeed the case when the game comes out for XB1, PS4, and PC on January 23. No word yet if Captain Planet will be making a major cameo here as well, though.
