Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy isn't out for two months (June 9 in North America and June 5 in Europe), but that's not stopping NISA from getting in on the DLC action. The publisher announced today that three DLC packs will be available for the PS Vita exclusive including Dark Hero Portraits, Swim Team Xth Squad Portraits and Bonus Content.

Thankfully, Dark Hero Portraits and Bonus Content will be free for a month at which time it will revert to a dollar while Swim Team will launch at $0.99. As such, those who want all the content will only have to shell out an extra buck if they buy the game around launch, which isn't bad for so many extras.

Here's a rundown of all three packs:

Dark Hero Portraits

Content: 6 additional characters and each with 3 different color variations.

Price: Free until July 9 (July 5 EU), $0.99/€0.99 thereafter

Swim Team Xth Squad Portraits

Content: 6 additional female characters in swim suits and each with 3 different color variations.

Price: $0.99/€0.99 from June 9 (June 5 EU)

Bonus Content

Content: 2 type of items that will help the players to start off the game.

-Power Recorders (x3) - Let's player save anywhere inside the Abyss.

-Hachi's Workout Pack - Raises all enemy levels by 5.

Price: Free until July 9 (July 5 EU), $0.99/€0.99 thereafter

More still, NISA has released a new trailer that introduces players to the Xth Squad.
