For those who either missed Captain Toad on the Wii U or who haven't yet had the chance to look into the game, Nintendo has released a video going over what it's like to play as Captain Toad and detailing some of the Switch version's new levels.

For starters, Captain Toad is not Mario. He can't jump and plow through hordes of Goombas like they're nothing. All he and Toadette can do is find items in the environment to toss at their enemies. The stages aren't typical Mario fare either. Each one is its own self-contained puzzle that players must guide Captain Toad or Toadette through as they search for the power star hidden within.

The Switch version adds new levels based on Super Mario Odyssey and same-console multiplayer wherein on person controls Captain Toad and the other assists by taking out enemies and such.
