To end their conference at Paris Game Week today, Sony showcased a brand new, lengthy trailer (around 5 minutes) for the upcoming Last of Us Part II. This isn’t exactly what you’d expect from a Last of Us trailer, showing off new characters (although there is wild speculation that one of the women is an older Ellie or her mother) along with some very uncomfortable scenes, including lynching and breaking’s someone’s arm at the elbow with a hammer.

Regardless, this is a visual treat and one heck of a way to end Sony’s show. Unfortunately, there’s still no release date, but at least we can speculate what’s going on. The Last of Us Part II will be available exclusively for PlayStation 4.
