The ambitious story-driven psychological thriller Past Cure comes out tomorrow, with the eight-man studio of Phantom 8 hoping to deliver a good mix of action, stealth, horror, and even puzzle-solving in a cinematic package. We'll find out soon if they succeed at it or not, but for now, you can check out the launch trailer accompanying the game's release below, which sets the surreal tone for the game quite nicely.

As seen before with the game's story trailer, the game sees you playing as Ian, a former soldier attempting to piece together the last few years of his life after having been captured and experimented on. And as this trailer shows, Ian's journey will take him to some weird and creepy places filled with humanoid creatures sporting glowing red eyes and mysterious orbs containing faces, among other things. It certainly looks interesting, and you'll be able to check it all out when Past Cure comes out on February 23 for PC, XB1, and PS4 through both digital download and retail.
