The last couple of months we've seen Sony up their game with their PlayStation Plus offerings. Ever since July, we've had big AAA releases included within our regular indie games, including Until Dawn, Just Cause 3 and Infamous: Second Son, and October is looking no different.

PlayStation 4 user will get the best games added to their collection next month, with Hideo Kojima's final game with Konami, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, will be available, alongside the Amnesia Collection.

For all other of Sony's platforms, we're getting what was accidentally announced for last month. For those still stuck in the last generation, Monster Jam Battlegrounds and Hustle Kings will be what you'll be getting. Finally, PlayStation Vita games Hue and Sky Force Anniversary will be available for download.

This month in general wouldn't be much to look at without Metal Gear Solid V. That's not to take away from all the great indie games, but The Phantom Pain is without doubt a shining highlight for this month's PlayStation Plus.
