Quite a bit of news dropped today with the Nintendo Direct Mini, and Nintendo made sure to save the best for last. Dark Souls Remastered arrives May 25 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

This rumor was flying around for awhile and now it is a reality. Dark Souls as a series has garnered critical acclaim for its intense combat difficulty matched by an unforgiving nature. Get ready to head back to the land of cursed undead, just make sure to keep that bonfire lit.

The PC version will be native 4K60 with PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X being able to upscale to 4K. The standard PS4 and Xbox One consoles will be 1080p60, with the Switch version locked at 1080p docked and 720p portable, both running at (hopefully a stable) 30FPS.
