An hour long demo for Prey, the first-person space adventure game from the studio behind Dishonored, is available now on the PlayStation Store and will take you through the very first moments of the game.

In Prey, you play as Morgan Yu, a member of the Talos I space station crew that has to survive as the station is overrun by Typhon aliens. Set in 2032 in an alternate timeline where Kennedy survived the assassination attempt, Prey explores a version of America that worked alongside Russia to advance further into space. But as we know, things eventually turned out for the worse. Hopefully, Morgan can keep the Typhon from getting to Earth. Gameplay-wise, Prey plays like a first-person shooter, with futuristic guns and abilities that allow you to pull off incredible maneuvers and attacks that will give you the edge against the adaptable and horrifying Typhon.

Alongside the announcement, PlayStation released a trailer on their YouTube channel to show off some of the good press the game has been getting recently. Check it out.

Also revealed today, via Bethesda's website, was the list of achievements/trophies from the game. If you look closely, which you might not want to if you don't want spoilers, you'll notice one them is called "Press Sneak," which you'll get for reading all of the emails in the game. Back in 2013, Kotaku reported that Arkane Austin was making a Prey sequel, even though the studio hadn't announced it yet. In an email sent to Arkane employees, and later acquired by Kotaku, said, "Now that the news is out, we'll be contacted left and right by press sneak f--ks who will want to know more." I'm sure you can see the connection. If you'd like to peek at the rest of the list, click here, but again, beware of spoilers.

Prey comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 5.
