We only got a brief glimpse of it earlier in the year at the Nintendo Switch Presentation, but the latest JRPG project by Square Enix -- and developed by the same team behind the acclaimed Bravely Default series of games -- code-named Project Octopath Traveler received a new gameplay trailer today as part of the latest Nintendo Direct.

As well as a more closer look at some of the character-based mechanics (referred to as Path Actions) and how the differing roles of each character will have an effect on the World you traverse, it's been announced that a free demo of the game has been made available on the Switch eShop to download right now. There's still a bit of a wait though to see this title eventually release as Octopath Traveler remains locked down with a vague 2018 release. Check out the latest trailer below.
