For those of you eagerly anticipating Remedy Entertainment's Alan Wake follow-up Quantum Break, the good news is that you'll have more options now when it comes to choosing what platform to play the game on. Today Remedy and Microsoft announced that Quantum Break will also be available on Windows 10 as as well, launching alongside the Xbox One version simultaneously when the game comes out on April 5. Notably, those who pre-order a copy of the XBO version will be able to receive a free copy of the PC version as well, and shared saves between platforms will be possible as well.

The downside to this? The PC version's system requirements, as seen in the above link, are quite astronomical. The recommend specs include 6 GB of VRAM, which alone was enough to freak out several gamers upon seeing the news. An additional upside, though, is that Quantum Break will also come with a free copy of Alan Wake and all of its DLC, along with a copy of Alan Wake's American Nightmare for those who pre-order. Both games will be available for the Xbox One via backwards compatibility, with American Nightmare compatible as of today and Alan Wake to follow. The announcement also came with the news that Microsoft will be releasing an Xbox One Special Edition Quantum Break bundle, consisting of a 500 GB Cirrus White XBO (with matching controller) and digital copies of both Quantum Break and Alan Wake. The bundle will be available for $349 USD starting March 29.

In addition, a new live-action trailer was released showing off a bit of the game's story, which you can check out below. Microsoft is clearly making a big push towards Quantum Break becoming their next big hit, so here's hoping they succeed come April 5.
