One of Microsoft's most highlighted exclusives this year, Rise of the Tomb Raider is shaping up to be something special. With all the mechanics we've come to love from the 2012 game along with a couple of new additions and a grander plot. At Gamescom last week, Microsoft showed off new gameplay footage to the attendees, but only now released it for everyone to see online.

This lengthy gameplay demo, 13-minutes in length, shows off quite a bit from the upcoming action adventure title, from Lara escaping gunfire to her traversing the dangerous cliffs. Rise of the Tomb Raider will be made available November 11 exclusively for the Xbox One this year, with a PC version coming in February and PlayStation 4 November 2016.
