After over two months of release, Gun Media has decided to share some valuable information on their debut game’s past success and future plans.

To date, Friday the 13th has sold 1.8 million copies, which is a significant amount of support for a Kickstarter title from a small indie team, particularly considering that the title has only been available to purchase digitally. However, that is changing soon as well, as the team has announced that the planned physical release for Friday the 13th will take place on, when else, Friday the 13th of October. The announcement trailer, which can be seen below, also reveals the exclusive content that will arrive with the physical version, including a bloody Jason skin and new outfits for the counselors.

While the physical release is only planned for PS4 and Xbox One, Friday the 13th is currently available digitally across both of those platforms as well as PC. For more on the horror movie adaptation, check out our review, which addresses the severe launch issues the game dealt with upon release.
