Montreal-based studio Playmind are about to enter the world of video games with their own abstract and heavily stylised take on the human subconscious in their debut title, the psychological horror, The InnerFriend. Described as a surrealist representation of memories and fears -- with influences ranging from 80's horror to the filmography of Stanley Kubrick -- players must navigate their distorted surroundings as the game attempts to tackle the concept of coping mechanisms and child psychology in this latest narrative-driven game.

You can see a glimpse of the gameplay in action in the teaser trailer below. The InnerFriend will be available for PS4, Xbox One & PC this September.
