Serious Sam gets up to all sorts of trouble when Croteam isn't keeping a close eye on him.  Side-scrolling action, an RPG, and an endless runner where you got to play as a beheaded kamikaze all came from Sam Stone's trysts with other developers a few years back, but there's still one bullet left in the indie-game clip.  Serious Sam's Bogus Detour is a twin-stick shooter under development from Crackshell, who are best known for the pixel-fest action RPG Hammerwatch.  The attention to detail in 2D art is getting a full workout in Bogus Detour, with Sam and the vast swarm of monsters being tiny on the screen in order to fit a huge amount of action.  The trailer below shows off plenty of game modes, including co-op multiplayer, survival, and deathmatch, and there will also of course be full single-player in the campaign mode.  It's tagged as a reveal trailer, but if you're interested then Crackshell hasn't been shy about sharing the updates over the last few months.  There's only so many more preview videos in the pipeline, though, because Serious Sam's Bogus Detour is set for a Summer release.
