Sine Mora EX -- the expanded version of the acclaimed 2012 bullet-hell shmup by developers Dead Good Media and Grasshopper Manufacture -- will launch on August 8, publisher THQ Nordic has today announced. Some may remember the title making a brief appearance during this April's Nintendo Direct where it was confirmed the title would also be coming to the Switch alongside its release on PS4, Xbox One & PC. However, the Switch version will be releasing at an unspecified later date, though given THQ Nordic claim it will be out "later this summer" and this current season is usually over around mid-September, here's hoping the wait is no more than a month.

Sine Mora EX will also support 4K resolutions -- alongside a frame-rate of 60FPS -- on both PC and PS4 Pro. Retail versions across all platforms will also be available and release at the same time as their digital download counterparts. The Switch version will also support local co-op as you can see in the below trailer.
