A mere fortnight before it was expected to hit consoles and PC alike, developer Dark Star's boss-battling action game Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption has suffered a last minute delay which sees the game pushed back into Q3 of this year. Though on the more positive side, the studio has confirmed that a Nintendo Switch version is also in the works and will launch the same day as its PS4, Xbox One & PC counterparts.

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption follows the tale of Adam, a soldier with a dark past, whom must set out on a quest to atone for his sins by facing off against a series of bosses -- each of which is based on one of the seven deadly sins. One of the more unique catches to the game's take on boss-rush stylings though, is that prior to each fight, the player must sacrifice an attribute in the form of a permanent debuff that can alter such things as health, strength or even the equipment you carry. Meaning each subsequent boss battle will be tougher than the one prior with debuffs stacking on top of one another the further you progress. Check out the game's Switch announcement trailer below.
