Sonic Prologue came out yesterday, and unlike most Sonic fan works which can be downright disturbing and scarring, Prologue is a sincere feel good tribute to the origins of Sonic. It follows the stories found in the manuals of the Genesis games, and creates a fun nostalgic trip down memory lane.

The film comes from NEKOMIX films, and here's the brief synopsis.

"Take a step back in time as Sonic the Hedgehog and his best friend Miles "Tails" Prower reminisce on the day their fates crossed paths for the first time before the events of Sonic 2! Experience first hand, the wild, action packed adventure that destined these two to be the dynamic duo they are today in Sonic Prologue!"
