Blue Wizard Digital on Tuesday announced that Space Tyrant will move out of Steam Early Access ahead of its launch later this month.

Developed by a team that has previously worked on titles such as Slayaway Camp, Peggle and Plants vs. Zombies, Blue Wizard has confirmed that the turn-based roguelike title will be released on February 27 for PC, macOS and Linux.

Space Tyrant can be found on Early Access for $19.99, having been on Steam since 2017. Blue Wizard says that Space Tyrant’s 1.0 release on Steam will be discounted during its launch week.

"We’re confident Space Tyrant is the only turn-based space strategy title on the market where you can get through a complete game in under 400 hours," says Isaac Aubrey of Blue Wizard.

"It’s built by hardcore 4X fans who know exactly what fat to trim away and what’s needed to keep it tasty. Also, there are giant space hamsters."
