Just two nights ago, Square Enix stole the show when they announced an exciting new IP during the 2017 PlayStation Tokyo Game Show press conference. The game immediately piqued our interest with the caliber of talent at the helm, including Shinji Hashimoto (Final Fantasy XIV producer), Toshifumi Nabeshimi (Armored Core producer) and Yoji Shinkawa (Metal Gear Solid artist). The trailer hinted at big things, with futuristic helicopters flying over a bombed out mega city. If we had one complaint, however, it was that the trailer put the "tease" into "teaser" and didn't reveal much of what the game actually is.

Square Enix has tonight remedied that by releasing the full Left Alive trailer, which gives some hints at the story and shows snippets of gameplay.

A PS4/PC exclusive survival action shooter, the game takes place in Novo Slava in 2127 and boasts Armored Core style mechs. The game looks to be in the vein of many beloved Square Enix IPs of yesteryear including Armored Core, Front Mission, Parasite Eve and more.
