Get ready to renew your subscriptions, Warriors of Light, because Final Fantasy XIV Online is bringing tons of new content in Patch 4.3: Under the Moonlight. This will be the latest update to Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood and will include the next chapter of the Ivalice 24-person raid series along with new quests, trials, dungeons, new gear and much more. Before we get further into the details, there could be potential spoilers for those who have yet to reach this point in the game, so please proceed with caution.

Included in this patch will be new Main Scenario Quests for Stormblood which follows Lord Hien’s negotiations with the Garlean Imperial envoy Asahi. As they both exchange promises for peace between Doma and the Empire, disruptive forces lurk in the shadows of Garlemald. In true Final Fantasy fashion, nothing is ever final as a familiar prince makes his return to foil Doma’s plans. It looks like Patch 4.3 promises us answers to our previously burning questions.

New sidequests and a 24-person Alliance Raid promise new powerful gear and the second chapter of Return to Ivalice takes players to the Ridorana Lighthouse. Those wanting an even tougher challenge can tackle the Ultimate Difficulty Raid to test your skills against a new incarnation of Ultima Weapon. With Byakko out of the way, The Four Lords side quest will receive a new update. For fans of Palace of the Dead, this Patch brings the new 100-floor tower within the Ruby Sea aptly named Heaven-on-High. Adventurers and explorers will have some fun of their own by traveling to the Forbidden Land, Eureka in the Pagos Expedition.

Of course, this Patch wouldn’t complete without new Beast Tribe quests and other performance updates. In Patch 4.3, you’ll be able to run errands for the adorable Namazu Beast tribe to earn their affections and their mount (which you can take a peek at around 4:00). Updates to jobs, PVP, glamour systems and housing will be implemented. Additionally, a new linkshell chat system will allow players to communicate with ease across servers within their data center. The Callback Campaign is now in effect through June 26 as players can collect in-game rewards by inviting those slacking friends who have been inactive in the game for at least 90 days. Fans can also look forward to the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festivals all over the world. North America will start the tour on November 16-17 in Las Vegas, followed by a European festival on February 2-3, 2019 in Paris, finally ending with the Tokyo Fan Festival in March 2019. Ready yourselves, Warriors, as this highly anticipated patch arrives on May 22.
