What ever happened to simply adding "Remaster" on the end of your title? Regardless, the awkwardly named Star Ocean: The Last Hope 4K and Full HD Remaster is finally upon us. Announced back in October, fans of the long running JRPG were somewhat surprised by Square Enix's willingness to remaster one of the less popular entries in the franchise.

This is a game that was originally published as an Xbox 360 exclusive, but a few years later found its way onto the PlayStation 3. It features a highly engaging combat system and a lively cast of characters, but unfortunately also has a less than appealing, and overly typical anime storyline with some of the most ear-piercing voice acting we've ever heard in a video game, 'kay.

Regardless, Square Enix has released a launch trailer right alongside the game's release, hopefully reminding you that it's still a thing and now available on both PlayStation 4 and PC. Best yet, it only runs players $19.99, which seems like a steal for how much content you'll be getting.
