Rogue One: Scarif, the final DLC expansion for Star Wars Battlefront, has a release date.

Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: Scarif is set to launch December 6 for those who own the Season Pass. This will give players a good look at Scarif and a few new characters before the new film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, hits theatres December 16.

With Rogue One: Scarif, players will get four brand new maps based on the new planet. With a tropical setting, Scarif easily sets itself apart from any other planet in Star Wars Battlefront. Players will also get two new heroes; Jyn Erso for the Rebellion and Orson Krennic for the Empire. Finally, there'll be a brand new game multi-stage game mode that incorporates both ground and space combat.

December 6 will also see the release of the Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission for PlayStation VR. This VR mode puts players in control an an X-Wing as they attempt to complete an important mission for the Rebellion. This mode is free to download from the PlayStation Store, but you will need PlayStation VR. The mode will unfortunately not be playable without a headset.

Star Wars Battlefront is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Ultimate Edition, which includes the base game and the Season Pass, is also available now.
