While the initial prototypes of the Steam Controller were met with some trepidation, the final version of Valve's latest foray into peripherals looks fantastic. Boasting dual trackpads, an analog stick, and triggers that feature both analog and digital inputs, the Steam Controller is aiming to bridge the gap between the comfort of the couch and the precision of playing with a mouse and keyboard. Today, Valve released a trailer detailing the new controller in order to get the world acquainted with a device it hopes will change the future of PC gaming.
