Timed well with the final Street Fighter V beta, UDON Entertainment's ongoing monthly Street Fighter Unlimited comic series is transitioning to a new artist with its fifth issue. New lead artist Edwin Huang may be familiar to comic fans for his work on the Skullkickers, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Mega Man comic series. In other Street Fighter endeavors, Edwin Huang has also designed Pop Culture Shock Toys' new line of Street Fighter V 1/6 scale character statues.

Issue #5 of Street Fighter Unlimited sees Ryu seeking a new master in the hermit Oro. There is a bonus story, as well, illustrated by Jeffrey "Chamba" Cruz, wherein the hermit Oro is also visited by none other than Akuma. As with the previous issues of this series, Street Fighter Unlimited #5 will feature variant covers. In total, there are two standard covers by Gonzalo "Genzoman" Ordóñez Arias and Jeffrey "Chamba" Cruz respectively, and two incentive variants. Incentive variants include a CVR C homage by Joe Vriens that Batman fans might recognize, and a cover variant featuring Street Fighter V's Laura from Steve "Kandoken" Mack.

Check out the four variant covers below. Street Fighter Unlimited #5 is due out in April for $3.99 and is now up for pre-order at comic book retailers.
