It's no secret among gamers that Sega is sitting on a countless amount of dormant IPs that we'd love to see revived in some form or another. Well, right now it at least looks like Sega is willing to give a shot at reintroducing the Super Monkey Ball series to old and new audiences. There was 2019's HD remake of Banana Blitz, but when it comes to OG Super Monkey Ball, nothing beats the original games, and so Sega is offering up remastered versions with Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.

Celebrating the franchise's twentieth anniversary, Banana Mania contains remastered version of Super Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball 2, and Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, containing over a combined three hundred levels and a dozen mini-games. On top of all of that, a Digital Deluxe version adds nine more character and console skins, ten customizable items, and a soundtrack, while a 20th Anniversary Edition available at retail includes an art book, reversable cover, collectable sleeve, and ten cosmetic items. Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania arrives for all major platforms on October 5, at which point we can enjoy AiAi's adventures again (and then keep hoping for a new game in the series).
