Tetris is an bonefide classic in the puzzle genre of video games. It's gone through a couple changes here and there but 2018's Tetris Effect raised the bar and last year's Tetris Effect: Connected is one we thoroughly enjoyed. Today, some huge updates were announced for Tetris Effect: Connected that will appeal to a number of fans.

New modes are coming to the game including cross-platform play.  Create multiplayer rooms to play against friends or join as a spectator. Slow Speed challenges your skills its entry delay and slightly slower movements. PAL Speed is a recreated version of the 8-bit European version that has controls going a tad faster.

A free beta test is open from June 23 until July 5 for those who already owns the game in addition to those who have the original on PS4, Oculus Quest or downloaded from Epic Games. It will also be available on Steam. Check out the video below to see these updates in action.
