Crytek has released a new update for The Climb that adds in support for the new Oculus Touch Controllers and new content.

The Climb, Crytek's Oculus VR title, has a new update that players can download now for free. The big feature coming with the update is Oculus Touch support. With the motion controllers, players will be able to better simulate the experience of scaling a cliff. Players will stretch to reach grips and feel like they're truly swinging across mountains. Crytek has implemented Oculus Touch support into all of the game's existing modes and levels, and have included a new Oculus Touch leaderboard.

The update also adds the new "North" setting. Inspired by the Arctic Circle, this wintry location tasks players with climbing a snowy mountain set against the backdrop of icy seas and a huge active volcano.

Crytek also confirmed that The Climb will be part of an Oculus Touch Launch Bundle from now until December 31. The bundle features five Oculus Rift titles that have been enhanced by Oculus Touch, and is available now for $89.99.

The Climb is available now exclusively on Oculus Rift. Be sure to check out our review of the game.
