A new video was released today that explains what players will do in The Division endgame and what their expansion schedule for 2016 looks like.

Endgame in The Division will come in the form of Incursions. Squad-focused missions that seems impossible, but that will reward players who try and try again until they've completed it. The first Incursion will release in April, although there was no specific day mentioned. The second, taking place in the Columbus Circle, will come in May. The May update will also "change the way you play in the Darkzone," but they do not really explain what that means. Worth mentioning is the fact that these two updates will be free.

The first paid expansion, then, will release in June and will be called Underground. Evidently, this expansion will have you and your team go into the subway systems, where the bad guys are regrouping. The narrator says, "how deep will your team go?" This could mean that the farther you go, the harder it gets, but also the better the rewards will be. But maybe not. Who knows.

Survival, the second big expansion, will hit in the summer. This one was left a bit more ambiguous, only saying that gathering resources is difficult and that the temptation to go rogue is ever present. Sounds like the main game, but again, who knows.

The third and final expansion for 2016 is called Last Stand and is slated simply for "winter," meaning probably November or December. The video mentions a "relentless foe" for this one and that you'll have to recruit more agents and stack up defenses is you want to succeed. Also, noticeably, the video depicts a skull as the main visual cue for this expansion, so that's creepy.

The $40 season pass will get you all three expansions, along with exclusive content like a fancy sawed off shotgun, content drops, exclusive events and outfits. Free updates will also be spread out over the course of the year, which will include things like loot trading, gear sets, Dark Zone Features like events, daily and weekly assignments, a challenge mode, and of course, new weapons.
