Yesterday we told you about the new website that launched for the upcoming Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. The site is a little bare and I can't read Japanese so I don't know for sure what it says, but I'm assuming somewhere in there Nintendo is pleading with their fans to help them outsell the My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute game that probably comes out the same week. The website is not the only reason we have to get excited for this long awaited sequel, though. Nintendo also launched a two and a half minute trailer for the upcoming game, and man does it just smack you across the face with beautiful, beautiful nostalgia.

Check out the trailer below and prepare to revel in some beautiful Zelda goodness. That title theme is enough to make me want to buy the game by itself. The gameplay looks amazing as ever, with lots of clever twists shown in the trailer. Here's how excited I am for the game: I am going to resist the urge to mock the game for naming the dark world to Hyrule as "Lorule". You're welcome, Nintendo. Between this and Pokemon X/Y, I suspect 3DS sales to finally surpass the number of humans on this planet sometime this holiday season.
