While the recently-released third instalment in Microïds' Syberia series was not without its faults -- some more glaring than others -- it takes nothing away from the original release which kicked off Kate Walker's adventures over fifteen years ago on PC, quickly gaining itself cult status. And following the announcement that the entire trilogy would be coming to Nintendo Switch, Microïds have finally confirmed that the first game will be available on the platform October 20.

The original Syberia follows the modest tale of New York lawyer, Kate Walker, as she's dispatched to the French Alps to finalise the sale of a former automaton factory, only to land herself on a quest that takes her across Eastern Europe whereupon Syberia's steampunk-flavoured world and mystery begins to unfold. Check out the game's latest trailer below.
