Having a Sim life in a Sim world in a Sim house with some Sim friends is great, but sometimes life is better when fluff balls are part of it. Electronic Arts has today announced The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs expansion. A long-awaited addition for any Sim fan, the wait looks to be worth it. The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs expansion will introduce the most customizable pet creation tool seen in the franchise, meaning the most unique pets will be whatever the player wants them to be.

The all new create a pet tool will allow for whatever pet one’s heart desires look at the pets below and it will make sense. With the ability to choose from a variety of cat and dog breeds and even mixing breeds together? Cat dog, possibly? For the first time ever pets will also have adorable outfits giving them the much needed style pets oh-so crave. And last but not least Sims pets will have full custom personality traits just like the Sims they live with, ensuring no two pets are the same.

Pets are mysterious creatures though and not all personality traits will show themselves right away. The quirky and unique personality traits will be discovered while caring for the furry friends, with the ability to train, play and nurture the Sims new companions. This also means the business of being a veterinarian is coming to town allowing players to pursue their animal care dreams. Players will even be able to build their own veterinary clinic, hiring staff and diagnosing/curing pets from fleas or more bizarre sicknesses (it is The Sims after all.)

Finally, The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs will expand The Sims 4 with new coastal shore world, Brindleton Bay. Sims pets can play fetch near the harbor docks or take a nice walk by the lighthouse, even visiting the park to setup an obstacle course.
