There are very few UFC events that encompass how large the promotion has become. When Ronda Rousey took on Liz Carmouch, it dawned a new era for the UFC, but Conor McGregor's appearance over the last couple of years has sparked new hype. While Ronda Rousey has been confirmed to be one of the cover athletes to grace EA Sports UFC 2, there's still another yet to be announced.

Well, EA Games have confirmed today that the winner of the upcoming UFC 194, which pits interim Featherweight World Champion, Conor McGregor, up current Champion Jose Aldo, will be the determining factor for who will take the second slot.

“Fight for the Cover is another way we are bringing an authentic and exciting experience to the fans,” said Jamie McKinlay, Vice President of Marketing, EA SPORTS. “From the Octagon at UFC 194 on December 12, to the Octagon in EA SPORTS UFC 2, this is a huge moment in UFC and EA SPORTS history, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”

UFC 194 will air on pay-per-view December 12 from Las Vegas, with not only the Featherweight championship on the line, but the Middleweight belt also being contested for with reigning Champion Chris Weidman taking on submission expert Luke Rockhold. EA Sports UFC 2 will be available for PS4 and Xbox One in 2016.
