Spike Chunsoft, the team behind the acquired taste that is the Way of the Samurai series, are looking to shake things up with the IP by giving it a brand new look and name. The rebranded samurai adventure goes by Ukyo no Roshi, and it has been announced for the PS3 and Vita with a debut trailer.

The gameplay offering looks nearly identical to Way of the Samurai, albeit a little more stylized and funky. The trailer ends with a rather peculiar image but at this point everyone gets the tentacle jokes.
