A new story trailer for Uncharted 4 was released into the wild earlier today. In one scene, the camera pans to a picture placed atop a mantle that shows a beach and an odd mountain structure that seems to break the laws of  gravity erosion. There's also a boat on the shore. You know what? As fun as it is to describe, it's probably just better if we show it you:

The problem, though, is that this art is starkly reminiscent of some concept art for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag shown here:

On their website, Naughty Dog apologized for the use of art that they did not ask permission for. "In our eagerness to get the story trailer out we made a regrettable mistake and didn’t thoroughly vet the art work used for an in game painting," they said. "We’ve already updated the trailer. We hold all artistry in high regard and take full responsibility for having allowed this to happen. We want to sincerely apologize to everyone at Ubisoft, the Assassin’s Creed team, the original artist, and our fans."

Hopefully this mistake does not overshadow the release of the story trailer, because it's downright fantastic. Check it out below the new version of the photo below.
