Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Hits Nintendo Switch in June

Bethesda Softworks today announced the final release date for the Nintendo Switch port of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.

The New Colossus landed on PS4, Xbox One, and PC back in October 2017 to strong reviews. At the time, Switch owners sat patiently waiting for their port, and now they finally have a release date. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus hits Switch on June 29, nearly eight months after the game’s initial release.

In The New Colossus, you play as BJ Blazkowicz as you attempt to take back America from the Nazis. The port was made possible by the developers at Panic Button who have first-hand knowledge of porting titles to Switch. They’re the same team that brought Doom to the platform. Switch specific features like motion controls have been implemented, though can be disabled for those who’d rather play with traditional controls. It is unknown if the game’s DLC will be included, or if it’ll even be for purchase.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is out June 29 on Nintendo Switch and available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
