The opening cutscene for World of Final Fantasy released today and it showcases some of the anime art style you’ll be experiencing when the game launches in a couple weeks. Popular Final Fantasy heroes such as Squall, Tidus and Lightning appear in their chibi forms aiding the two main characters in battle against familiar monsters.

World of Final Fantasy will take you to a magical realm where you’ll play as the twin Mirage Keepers and stack characters atop their heads to defeat memorable enemies from the titular RPG franchise’s past. Collect, customize and evolve these mirages to gain advantages in this new twist on a classic battle system.

World of Final Fantasy launches on October 25, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
