It's no secret that the Xbox One has a unique controller. Similar to the Xbox 360's in aesthetics, but with a different feeling in almost every physical aspect, the controller has changed up how games will be experienced on the Xbox One. We recently had a marathon session with the controllers at the Call of Duty: Ghosts Multiplayer reveal and began to adapt and enjoy its ergonomics after the extended playtime. To showcase one of the lesser-touted features of the new controllers, Major Nelson headed over to Turn 10 Studios to discuss how its new Impulse Triggers will function with games like Forza 5.

A fancy term for rumble in the triggers, the chassis won't be the only thing that shakes anymore. According to Greenwalt, this lets developers give controller feedback that is almost three dimensional, allowing players to subtly feel the force of the game as they play. Check out the full video below, which gives an exciting glimpse on the possibilities for the feature.
